STIX CIGARS–TERMS OF SERVICE

Age Verification Policy: Stix Cigars strictly adheres to all federal, state, and local laws regarding tobacco distribution. By booking a mobile lounge package or purchasing retail inventory, the client certifies that they are at lease 21 years of age. We reserve the absolute right to request valid, government-issued photo identification from any guest under our canopy layout before providing cutting, lighting, or tobacco hosting services. We will immediately deny service to any underage individual, and no refunds will be issued for packages or product counts affected by underage restrictions.

Inclement Weather & Outdoor Setup: The safety of our guests, staff, and luxury lounge equipment layout is our primary priority. Our standard setup requires a flat, clear space suitable for our commercial canopy tent structure. In the event of severe weather forecasts (including high winds exceeding 20 mph, torrential downpours, lightning storms, or extreme sub-freezing temp spikes), the client must provide a secondary, indoor alternative space on their property. If a suitable indoor option is unavailable and an event cannot safely proceed outdoors, Stix Cigars will issue a full digital booking credit valid for 12 months to reschedule the event. No cash refunds will be issued due to weather disruptions.

Venue Compliance and Permissions: The client assumes 100% legal responsibility for ensuring that mobile cigar smoking layouts and outdoor canopy lounge setups are fully permitted at their chosen private property, venue, or golf course location. The client certifies that their event space complies with all local South Carolina clean indoor/outdoor air ordinances, HOA regulations, and corporate facility guidelines. Stix Cigars LLC is not liable for any event shutdowns, venue fines, or operational disruptions caused by a client's failure to secure proper space authorizations, and no refunds will be granted under these circumstances.

Cancellations, Deposit, & Rescheduling Rules: Because our mobile packages lock out our physical equipment and staff availability from alternate prospective event hosts, cancellations heavily impact our operational scheduling loop. We enforce the following financial policies for all bookings:

  • Standard Event Packages ($800 and $950 baseline for Bronze and Silver Cigar Lounge Packages respectively: If you choose our Non-refundable Deposit Only option to secure a standard calendar slot, that baseline deposit amount (e.g. $400) remains 100% non-refundable and non-transferable upon cancellation at any time prior to your event to cover our administrative and booking reservation overhead.
  • Balance Refunds for Standard Bookings: If you paid your full package balance upfront or have already settled your remaining balance invoice, you may cancel your event at any time prior to the scheduled date. We will issue a cash refund straight back to the original payment card for the remaining balance portion only (Total Invoice Paid minus the Non-Refundable Deposit amount)
  • Premium Holiday Bookings ($1000 and $1150 baseline respectively): Please note that all holiday transactions processed through our dedicated Holiday Calendar loop require 100% full payment upfront and are completely non-refundable and non-transferable immediately upon payment execution due to the peak-demand nature of those calendar dates.

Property Damage & Liability Indemnification: The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stix Cigars LLC, its staff, and its operations from any and all third-party property damage, physical injury lawsuits, or medical claims arising out of or related to tobacco consumption or guest conduct inside our mobile lounge footprint. The client assumes full financial liability for any malicious damage, theft, or complete destruction of Stix Cigars LLC physical assets (including our padded leather club chairs, display humidors, end tables, canopy frames, and inventory) causes by guests attending their private event.

MANDATORY SPECIAL EVENT INSURANCE: For all private event bookings, corporate gatherings, and wedding receptions, the Client/Host is strictly required to secure a comprehensive Special Event Liability Insurance policy (minimum coverage limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence). Stix Cigars must be listed on the policy certificate as an Additional Insured for the full duration of the setup, event hosting, and breakdown window. Proof of this insurance certificate (COI) must be digitally submitted to orders@stixcigars.com no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled event date. Failure to provide verified event insurance will result in immediate cancellation of the booking slot and forfeiture of the client's 50% non-refundable deposit.
